By the time Slash and Pecos return to town after a quick-and-dirty cargo run, Benson has enlisted half the outlaws in the territory for his own private army. With the help of a corrupt colonel, he's sent a veritable war wagon into the unprepared town—wreaking havoc and slaughtering innocents with the brand of carnage one only sees on the battlefield. The local lawmen are quickly slaughtered. Even the US marshals are no match for the military precision of Benson's army. With looters running amuck and killers on every corner, a person would have to be stupid or crazy to try to take the town back...
