When twelve-year-old Thea takes to brooding and showing classic signs of teen angst, her mom organizes a trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire with Thea's grandmother. The perfect chance for the three to bond.

But their peaceful weekend away soon turns into a fight for survival when a man follows the family on a hike and drags them at gunpoint to an abandoned cabin in the woods.
